Terms of use

Wonderly publishes original audio fiction with accompanying artwork and video. Using it means agreeing to what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Your account
- You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with your email address, which receives a one-time sign-in link or six-digit code. There is no password.
- Keep your email account secure. Anyone who can read your email can use a sign-in code.
- One account is for one person. Do not share sign-in codes or links.
- You can delete your account at any time: Account on the website, or Profile in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
What you can listen to
- The first three chapters of every published show are free, with no account.
- From chapter four you need an account. Each later chapter is unlocked with 10 coins. A chapter you unlock stays unlocked on your account.
- Signed in, you may also listen to later chapters you have not unlocked for 30 minutes a day, free. The minutes reset at midnight in your time zone, do not carry over, and are not coins. The allowance may change.
- Shows are added and occasionally revised. Published chapters are not removed without notice to anyone who has started them.
Coins
- Coins are sold in packs on the website and in the iPhone and Android apps, at the prices shown at the time of purchase. Coins bought in one place work everywhere on the same account.
- Website purchases are processed by Stripe. App purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms; Wonderly never receives your card details.
- Coins are credited only after the payment is confirmed. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are used only to unlock chapters on Wonderly.
- Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are requested from Apple or Google. For website purchases, write to info@wonderlyseries.com. A refunded or reversed purchase removes the coins it added.
- Unused coins are lost if you delete your account.
The stories
Every show, script, recording, image and piece of video on Wonderly is original work owned by Wonderly. Listening, free or unlocked, gives you a personal licence to listen and watch. It does not permit downloading, re-uploading, public performance, redistribution, or use as training data for a machine learning model.
Fair use of the service
Do not attempt to bypass the chapter access checks, scrape the catalog, share credentials, or interfere with the service for other listeners. Accounts doing any of these can be closed.
Availability
Wonderly is a small service run by one person. It is offered as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. If a chapter you paid coins for cannot be played, write to info@wonderlyseries.com and the coins will be returned.
Ending
You can stop using Wonderly and delete your account whenever you want. Wonderly can close an account that breaks these terms, and will refund unused purchased coins when it does so for reasons other than serious misuse.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of the place you live.
